Spoke to my professor the other day who wants our class to go see the Mel Gibson movie (our class explores a series of debates among historians, and later in the semester we will be discussing issues around Jesus' life and death). She seemed to think my not wanting to give Mel Gibson my precious $5.50 was a good enough reason not to see it. Anyway, even though she couldn't really force me to see it (hooray for being a grown-up!), I thought it was cool that she understood.

Got my Illinois voter card yesterday, just in time for the primary on the 16th (not that it matters much now). I'm sure my jury duty summons will be coming soon...
